Site assessment and professional installation required
Commercial charging, payment and communications requirements must be assessed together. Final supply capacity, circuit design, protection, mounting, connectivity, commissioning, testing and certification must be completed by appropriately qualified providers.

Maximum charging power is up to 22kW. Actual charging speed and payment, SIM, acquiring, settlement, receipt, backend, OCPP and load-management functions depend on the exact configuration, vehicle, site, network and contracted services. Associated fees and New Zealand availability must be confirmed separately.

The Nayax EV Meter Pay delivers up to 22kW AC charging for compatible vehicles at suitable commercial locations. The open socket design accepts a customer's own Type 2 cable, keeping the station compact and suitable for shared public use.

Actual charging speed depends on the vehicle's onboard charger, available site capacity, configured current and installation conditions.

Pay directly at the charger using supported card, contactless or mobile-payment methods. RFID and NFC managed access are also supported, with optional QR listed subject to configuration.

Payment availability, acquiring, fees, settlement, refunds and chargebacks are subject to the selected commercial-service agreement. Connected platform services are provided subject to the applicable Nayax agreement.

The Nayax EV Meter Pay O includes electronic AC 30mA + DC 6mA residual-current detection, overvoltage and undervoltage protection, and overcurrent protection. The manufacturer-rated IP55 enclosure and IK10 impact-rated housing are designed for suitable commercial locations.

Site-specific upstream circuit protection, load management and earthing must be designed and installed by an appropriately licensed New Zealand electrical worker.

Professional installation required.

This hardwired commercial charger must be installed, grounded, configured, tested and commissioned by an appropriately licensed New Zealand electrical worker. A commercial site assessment is required before installation to assess parking layout, accessibility, weather exposure, impact protection and communications coverage.

Final circuit design, upstream protection, load management, cable sizing and mounting depend on the site. Refer to the manufacturer installation manual for full positioning, wiring, earthing, commissioning and safety requirements.

What payment methods are accepted?
The Nayax EV Meter Pay O supports selected card, contactless and mobile-payment methods. Payment availability, acquiring fees, settlement, refunds and chargebacks are subject to the selected commercial-service agreement with Nayax.
Is installation included?
No. GridPilot supplies the charging equipment but does not supply or invoice electrical installation. Installation is separately assessed, quoted, contracted, invoiced, completed, tested and certified by an independent licensed electrical contractor engaged directly by the customer.
What vehicles is it compatible with?
The EV Meter Pay O is designed for compatible Type 2 vehicles. Confirm the vehicle connector and onboard AC charging limit before purchase. A customer-supplied Type 2 cable is required for the open socket configuration.
Will it always charge at 22kW?
No. Actual charging power depends on the vehicle's onboard AC charger limit, available site capacity, configured current and installation conditions.
What connectivity does it use?
The EV Meter Pay O uses Ethernet and 4G for connected operation. Connected platform services are subject to the applicable Nayax commercial-service agreement, including SIM, backend and transaction fees.
What warranty applies?
Warranty details covering hardware, payment terminal, metering and NZ support terms are pending confirmation. Any applicable warranty is additional to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under New Zealand law.
