What certifications apply?
Manufacturer material displays certification marks for multiple markets. Applicability to the exact New Zealand-supplied unit must be verified against its rating label, RCM evidence, supplier declaration and supply-chain compliance records.
Is installation included?
No. GridPilot supplies the charging equipment but does not supply or invoice electrical installation. Installation is separately assessed, quoted, contracted, invoiced, completed, tested and certified by an independent licensed electrical contractor engaged directly by the customer.
Can it be installed outdoors?
The enclosure is manufacturer-rated IP55. The responsible electrical worker must still confirm the exact location, weather exposure, mounting, cable entry, drainage and installation method.
How can charging be started?
Depending on the supplied configuration, charging can be started using RFID, Plug and Charge or the Zeeda Energy app on a compatible Connect Charger model. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are shown on the photographed unit; 4G is not confirmed.
Will it always charge at 7kW?
No. Actual charging power depends on the vehicle, available supply capacity, configured current and installation conditions.
Is it compatible with every EV?
No. It is intended for compatible Type 2 vehicles. The vehicle connector, market origin, onboard AC charging limit and any adapter requirements should be checked before purchase.
